SUMMARY
Responsible for multiple commercial or residential projects involving placement of ready-mix concrete from mix design to final delivery of product to business and industrial establishments
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Attends pre-pour meetings to plan access and involvement
- Visits project site prior to start to identify access issues or safety concerns
- Identifies safety concerns and wash down area
- Communicates concerns, issues and solutions to plant and Concrete Delivery Professionals
- Keeps up with the project schedules and handles accordingly
- Frequently visits the project site and verifies access and customer readiness
- Develops and maintains relationships with customer on the site
- Assists Technical Services with testing loads for conformance at job site as needed
- Monitors slumps, testing and placing of our concrete
- Adjusts slumps of our trucks and performs companion testing
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily and be able to work independently, often without supervision.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- Two years related experience
- ACI and DOT certifications desired (ability to obtain required)
- Ability to speak Spanish desired
