The local branches of Thomas Concrete Group conduct operations within our domestic markets across Sweden, Germany, Poland, Norway, and the United States. These subsidiaries are strategically located to ensure that the operations are tailored to meet the specific needs our customers, thereby reinforcing our Group’s commitment to delivering high-quality products and services in these regions.
The company was founded in 1955 in Karlstad. We operate ready-mixed concrete plants in the western, central and eastern parts of Sweden. In addition we also have four precast plants in Lane-Ryr, Heby and Sollebrunn. They also delivers precast products to Norway.
Our trading and distribution company within Thomas Concrete Group. The main business objective is to secure and develop the Group’s long term supply of raw materials. At Landskrona, Uddevalla and Oxelösund terminals we are currently storing and distributing slag.
C-lab was founded in 1992 and in 1994 it became one of SWEDAC’s accredited testing laboratories. The activities consist of three areas of work that include material and laboratory testing, technical consultation and damage investigations, as well as R&D.
With two efficient sand and gravel plants in Vierhusen and Sternberg, as well as long-term secured raw material deposits and aggregates in Schleswig-Holstein and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
Thomas Concrete Group examined into the Polish market in the late 1990’s. As of today, Thomas Beton is one of the leading suppliers of high-quality ready-mixed concrete in northern and central Poland.
As from the beginning of 2024, Thomas Concrete Group is a majority owner in SCANBET, in which the group own 84%. SCANBET is a manufacturer of precast reinforced concrete elements.
Norway is an important market and we have delivered precast products since the middle of the 1980’s from our four precast plants in Sweden.
