SUMMARY
The Territory Account Manager sells ready mix concrete products in both the residential and commercial markets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists residential sales in maintaining daily/weekly contact with customers within your
assigned area. - Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads based on information
from available sources. - Gathers information for assigned territory considering competitor pricing and market
share. - Meets or exceeds monthly sales goals and average selling price for assigned area.
- Develops and maintains relationships with customers in assigned territory through face-to-face communication.
- Quotes prices and credit terms and prepares sales contracts for orders obtained.
- Estimates date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of production and delivery
schedules. - Prepares reports of business transactions and keeps expense accounts.
- Enters new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer
database. - Maintains commercial leads and status on CRM system.
- Investigates and resolves customer issues with deliveries, quality, and credit. Assists with collection of overdue A/R, as needed.
- Assists assigned plants as schedule allows.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor’s degree and one year of relevant sales experience required; or several years’ relevant sales
experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
ACI certification strongly preferred. Must have a current valid driver’s license.
