Sustainability Report 2022 – Thomas Concrete Group and Thomas Concrete Inc

“Climate improved concrete is the best at reducing the construction industry's climate footprint”

Gothenburg, Sweden, April 4th, 2023

Thomas Concrete Group believes that collaboration between the actors in the construction projects, as well as the use of climate-improved concrete, are the single best measures to reduce the construction sector's climate impact.

- There must be a more sensible use of materials in the construction sector. The right material in the right place is a lot about us using the right concrete and not overdimensioning. The sooner we can collaborate on the projects, the greater potential there is to reduce the climate footprint, says Karin Gäbel, Sustainability Manager at Thomas Concrete Group.

When Thomas Concrete Group releases its sustainability report for 2022, there is a recurring theme: effective collaboration between the actors in construction projects, together with climate-improved concrete, offers a very large potential to lower the construction industry's total climate footprint.
