The 36-feet high sculpture called Stealth, with its sharp edges, lustrous surfaces and twisted forms gleams as if it is made of steel. But looks deceive, because it’s composed of black concrete. The sculpture stands in downtown Atlanta in the United States, and is made from a special concrete developed by the Swedish family owned company, Thomas Concrete Group.

The Swedish Thomas Concrete Group has acquired assets of Coastal Concrete, a US company which operates 10 concrete plants in Georgia and South Carolina. As a result, the Thomas Concrete Group is strengthening its position in the concrete market across a large region on the US east coast between Atlanta and Raleigh.

The Georgia based subsidiary of the Swedish Thomas Concrete Group has acquired the assets of Georgia Transit Mix, LLC dba Williams Bros. Concrete, a US company which operates 3 concrete plants in Georgia. As a result, the Thomas Concrete Group is strengthening its position in Atlanta.
