20 million pounds of cumulative CO2 savings using the CarbonCure Technology

In September, Thomas Concrete surpassed 20 million pounds of cumulative CO2 savings using the CarbonCure Technology.

Thomas Concrete first installed the CarbonCure Technology into a single plant in Atlanta in February of 2016. Since then, Thomas Concrete, which operates 70 ready mix concrete plants in Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina, has been rolling out installations of the CO2-recycling technology.

Currently, 22 of Thomas Concrete’s plants have been equipped with the technology, and a further 3 plants are scheduled for installation.
